What is good Governance ?

There are two sides of government. Administration and management. The word administration was derived from Latin word ad and ministiare - means to seve the people or to care for or look after the people or manage public affairs. There are staffs as public servant. On the other hand there is overall management of public affairs under administration. The basic needs fooding clothing, housing, educating and management of all the psychological needs are concerned with the government. To guide the ordinary people into the righteous path is role of administration where the police can play vital role.

To function good governance there is need of direction, guidance and order system. According to time and situation the administration must be responsible for recording and planning everything. There is needed highest efficiency to meet the targeted goal of administration. If there is well system with legal power nothing is mismanaged in the society or state. Therefore planning with priorty, organising with responsibility and duty, staffing, directing, co-ordinating, reporting, budgeting and evaluation have to be managed. Similarly leadership development, control the system and management of resources have significant role for good governance. Unless there is right person with right power at right place there is good platform for good governance (frederick Winshow Tayler-1991).

If the administration plays significance role there is achievement also. There must be legal framework efficiency management, scruting guorantee of security, financial control to get the goal. The professional and technical duty of every staff needs to be implemented for the better system which makes good governance. Reward and punishment system at everyfield play significant role in the society or state. Therefore to place right person with right duty needs for good governance. If the duty holders are corrupted they can't give good governance to the ordinary people in the society. Hence honesty in duty, responsibility on shoulders and understanding in mind make possible to set up good governance.

Everybody in this world needs to be aware of every situation so that there is not chances of failure. That's why good planning and co-ordination with proper guidance or direction make everyone be dutiful. Unless we apply good governance we can't reach the goal of life. Mother and Motherland are greater.
